Watermelon Mexican Candy (Jell-O Shot)

This Watermelon Mexican Candy Jell-O Shot recipe is delicious and has a nice spice to it. Made with tequila and just a dash of Buffalo wild Wings Mango Habanero hot sauce. Perfect for a premade Cinco De Mayo fiesta favor.

Equipment

  • 3oz Portion Cups with lids
  • Measuring Cup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Tequila
  • 1 pack Watermelon Jell-O
  • 1 oz BWW Mango Habanero Hot Sauce
  • 1 cup Hot water or to gelatin requirements
  • Tajin for garnish rim

Instructions
 

  • Prepare you Jell-O mix replacing the requested cold-water ingredient for tequila. Add a dash of mango habanero sauce (not too much) and mix again.
  • Once thoroughly mixed, fill your 3oz portion cups up leaving space for the lid and rim garnish.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until Jell-O is fully set.
  • Once Chilled, if serving right away take a lime wedge and wipe along the rim of your set Jell-O cups and rim with tajin for garnish. If serving later leave Jell-O’s capped and garnish before serving.

Pro Tips: Having a party need something less messy?
Serve with Mini Tajin Packets or even a spicy lollipop to help scoop!
There are hundreds of different types of hot sauce out there, so feel free to experiment with different ones.
If you don't want your drink to be too spicy, simply omit the hot sauce or use less than what is called for in the recipe. You can always add more, but you can't take it away!
