Irish Trash Can
The Irish Trash Can is a fun and festive shot that’s perfect for St. Patrick’s Day! Made with a combination of gin, white rum, vodka, peach schnapps, blue curaçao, triple sec, and a Red Bull energy drink - this drink is not for the faint of heart! Be sure to enjoy responsibly.
Equipment
- 1 Tall Pilsner Glass
- 1 Jigger or Measuring Cup
Ingredients
- 1/2 oz Gin
- 1/2 oz White Rum
- 1/2 oz Vodka
- 1/2 oz Peach Schnapps
- 1/2 oz Blue Curaçao
- 1/2 oz Triple Sec
- 1 can Red Bull energy drink
- 2 oz Finest Call Sweet and Sour
Instructions
- Add all your liquor to the glass, top with ice, and give it a thorough stir
- Top with your can of Red Bull (it's common to drop in the full can upside down so it adds more energy drink as you drink down the cocktail)
Notes
Pro Tip: Feel free to adjust the ratios of liquor to your liking. Just remember, the more alcohol you add, the less energy drink you’ll need to top it off.
Be careful as you add your can of Red Bull to the top! Leave yourself plenty of room in your cup before tipping into it.
Also be sure to use a proper glass for this. Too tall or too skinny of a base and your glass could topple over - a pure disaster to waste all that alcohol!
