Spicy Pineapple Tamarind Mexican Candy Jell-O Shot


INTRODUCTIONRemember those delicious little coated spicy candies? They came in multiple flavors but undoubtably strawberry was the best flavor, so we created a shot that taste just like it! Made with Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind Vodka this Spicy Strawberry shot tastes just like a handful of the checkout counter candy (without having to unwrap them), a sweet shot followed with a slight kick.

Made with just 3 ingredients this recipe is quick and easy to make combining just Smirnoff Tamarind Vodka, Strawberry Puree, and Lime Juice.

Tools: A Jigger or Measuring Cup, Cocktail Shaker, Cocktail Strainer

INGREDIENTS:

  •  (1oz) Smirnoff Tamarind Vodka 
  •  (1/4oz) Finest Call Strawberry Puree
  • (3/4oz) Lime Juice 
  •  (rim) Chamoy and Tajin 

QUICK SHOP

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Using your Chamoy sauce cover your shot glass rim with your preferred amount (this shot can get messy if you chose so), top with an even layer of tajin. Place this inn a safe spot while you shake up the ingredients.
  2. Fill your shaker tin with ice.
  3. Add all your Vodka, Strawberry Puree and Squeezed Lime Juice into your shaker, shake for 15-20 seconds to make sure everything is mixed enough. (This gives the strawberry puree time to water down a bit, no one wants a thick shot)
  4. Strain into your shot glass serve with a handful of Pica Fresa Candies and enjoy!
