An unexpected match made in heaven flavor combination of both fruity and creamy. You’re going to love this boozy take on the treat. Summer couldn’t get sweeter! This simple recipe chills fast and is sure to be pleasant treat at your next gathering.

What’s in an Orange Creamsicle Jell-O Shot?

Orange Creamsicle Jell-O Shots are made with Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka and a layer of both Orange and Pina Colada Gelatin.

Preparation Time: 10 mins

 

Glassware Type: 3 oz portion cups (Amazon Link)

 

Tools: Measuring Cup

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Package Orange Jell-O (Amazon Link)
  • 1 Package Orange Pina Colada (Amazon Link
  • Smirnoff Vanilla Vodka
  • Boiling Water  
  • Cold Water

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a large mixing bowl mix your Orange Jell-O with boiling water per package instructions. Stir until fully dissolved.  
  2. Add half the instructed amount of cold water replacing the other half with your Vanilla Vodka. Stir for 1-2 minutes.
  3.  Fill your portion cups 1/3 full and place these in the refrigerator to chill. 
  4. Once settled repeat this mixing step with the Pina Colada Jell-O. 
  5. Allow the Pina Colada Mixture time to cool before the next step. Place the whole bowl in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes to expedite this step.
  6. Once chilled carefully spoon a layer of this white Pina Colada Jell-O on top of the original orange base.  
  7. Place back into the refrigerator to chill fully. (Cups should be 2/3 full now)
  8. Once settled repeat both the mixing and layer steps with a final layer of orange. 
  9. Allow to chill and fully set. 
  10. Serve or save to serve later, Cheers!

Pro Tips:

3 layers can be a lot! If you’re in a time crunch opt for just 1 of each flavor. These still taste delicious and save a few minutes of prep time.

 

Serving now? Top with whipped cream and serve with mini sample spoons.
