What is a Lava Flow Drink?

A Lava flow drink is a tropical mash-up between a Piña Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri. When you mix these two cocktails together you get what looks like strawberry lava flow cooling off in a pina colada bath.

Preparation Time: 5min

Glassware Type: Daquiri Glass or High Ball Glass

Tools: A Jigger or Measuring Cup, Blender

INGREDIENTS:

(2oz) Malibu Rum
(3oz) Finest Call Pina Colada Puree
(3oz) Dole Pineapple Juice

(1/2 cup) Frozen Pineapple
(1/2) Fresh Banana
(1oz) Finest Call Strawberry Puree

(1cup) Ice

INSTRUCTIONS:

Combine all ingredients (with exception of the strawberry puree) in your blender base.

Blend until your able to pour without a spatula. (add additional pineapple juice if too thick)
In your glass add 1oz of strawberry puree to the bottom. In a circular motion work this puree up the glass. This will coat your empty glass with a light strawberry layer.
Pour your pina colada mixture into your glass and garnish with a fresh pineapple slice.

Serve with a straw and enjoy!
